Get to know the Ward 4 and At-Large DC Council candidates
/
I've spent the past two months interviewing the candidates for At-Large and Ward 4 Councilmember, with the goal of giving voters an opportunity to get to know the candidates. I sent each candidate a questionnaire with the same questions (slightly different questions for the Ward 4 candidates), and then asked them for a one-on-one meeting to complete the interview process.
The only candidates who were not interviewed were Brandon Todd and Vincent Orange, the current incumbents for Ward 4 and At-Large, respectively. Mr. Todd personally confirmed twice he would participate but then stopped responding. Mr. Orange's staff submitted answers to the candidate questionnaire, but then stopped responding to follow-up interview requests. Because Mr. Orange did not complete the process, I've decided to not publish his questionnaire responses. I gave both incumbents multiple opportunities to respond since March.
Below are the Ward 4 and At-Large candidates (in alpha order) with links to their questionnaire responses and interviews (except two). In each you will find links to their campaign websites, Twitter accounts, Facebook, etc. I hope you find this information useful to make an informed decision on the upcoming election on June 14th.
