It's getting to be Tis' the Season, and the Upshur Street businesses are celebrating with a Holiday Windows celebration. Come down to Upshur this evening at 6pm to stroll along the street and see the window displays, designed by local and well-known artists.

There's a reception at Willow Fashion (843 Upshur Street NW) afterwards until 8pm. Event details are available on a Facebook event page.

Here's an update on the 5 new restaurants coming to Upshur this Spring and early Summer.

Artists and Business owners joined together to bring back Holiday Windows to Washington at Storefronts on the block including the soon to open Slim's Diner. Bring family and friends to join together for a neighborhood walk to celebrate the season. Stop in at Willow for cheer and meet the artists. Get acquainted with the local businesses. Meet new neighbors. Enjoy your neighborhood.
