Like in previous years, Theodore Roosevelt High School is hosting students from France who will be attending Roosevelt this fall on an exchange program. The school is looking for local host families for the French students to stay with temporarily during their short time in DC.

This is a great opportunity to help a young person experience a new country, and your own family to experience a new culture. As a host family, you’d be responsible for providing dinner during the week and meals on the weekend, taking part in activities on the weekend (either organized by the host family or exchange program chaperone), and answering any questions about DC and/or the United States in general.

The program takes students on some great local DC experiences.

The students are coming to DC from Institute Saint Dominque in Pau, France. Roosevelt needs host families for 15 students (ages 16-17) and two teachers from Thursday, October 17th to Tuesday, October 29th.

If you are interested in serving as a host family, please fill out the volunteer form. Thank you to everyone that has already agreed to host a student or teacher!
