About Celebrate Petworth
A community of volunteers. Celebrate Petworth started in 2014 when a group of community organizers in the Petworth neighborhood of northwest DC came together to create a new kind of neighborhood festival: one that seeks to bring together the residents of our neighborhood, not just for the day of the event, but through the creation of new opportunities for collaboration, partnership, and engagement amongst residents, local businesses, and community-based organizations.
Celebrate Petworth is brought to you by a volunteer-powered Petworth Alliance and Celebrate Petworth Steering Committee. Petworth Alliance is a community organization bringing Petworth residents, neighborhood non-profit and community organizations, and local businesses together to take action to promote positive engagement and community building.
