Halloween costume exchange & outdoor movie on October 5th!
/Petworth Peanuts, the local and incredibly active parents group, is hosting a Halloween costume exchange AND movie night on Saturday, October 5th at 5pm on the soccer field at EL Haynes (8th & Webster Streets NW).
People are encouraged to donate costumes ASAP on porches across the neighborhood.
Come join other families and trade out costumes, pick up a costume and enjoy a fun evening! The Peanuts Community Costume Exchange & Outdoor Movies starts at 5pm with a screening of Room on the Broom for the littles, and then Hocus Pocus (full length feature film).
You’ll enjoy free kids' entertainment, including a performance by Teatro de la Luna, face-painting, balloon artists, games and art activities and even Wow Wheelz! This event is co-sponsored by Petworth Peanuts and ANC 4C.
Please bring winter wear in good condition to the event to benefit Ward 4 Mutual Aid!
Join President Lincoln’s Cottage on September 19, from 10am to 2pm, for their free annual Homecoming celebration inspired by the Lincoln family’s time living on the grounds of the Soldiers’ Home, here in the Petworth neighborhood.
