Another summer month in Petworth comes to the last Saturday, and another Petworth Jazz Project is ready to go. Saturday, August 27th finds the Project starting at 5:30pm with kids music, with jazz kicking off at 6:30pm. The evening is sponsored by Slash Run.

The Jazz Project is always an evening of amazing music, a large neighborly crowd and some good food. This time food options are provided by Crepe Amour, voted the Best Food Truck of 2106 by the Washington City Paper.

Kids music kicks of at 5:30pm with Petworth's own Teatro de la Luna presenting “Chiquititos/Itsy-Bitsy.”

The evening's jazz starts at 6:30pm featuring the music of Cecily Alexa Bumbray and DJ sets by Richard Patterson (Unown, Good Compny Band/Oddisee).

Bring some food, some tasty beverages and a desire for a great time with the community. And remember that DPR doesn't allow dogs in Petworth park.

Baby stroller valet parking available.* ;)

*Not really, there's no valet, but there is plenty of parking available...
