Introduction
I am a federal civil servant working to advance equity, wife, and mom of 7 year old twin boys.

What's a hobby or something fun that you are interested in?
I love spending time in Rock Creek Park with my family, practicing yoga, and early morning Orange Theory workouts. Oh and I love a good nap!

What are your qualifications?
I have a Masters degree in urban planning where I studied economic development and environmental land use planning. I also worked for DC government for 7+ years where I learned first hand about the complexities and importance of a responsive, innovative and effective local government.

I helped to plan the inaugural Kennedy Street Festival and subsequent festivals with the Kennedy Street Development Corporation and have also served on the board of Uptown Main Street for the past two years. I have lived with my family in our house for the past 10 years and love the diversity and warmth of the Brightwood Park community.

What are the ANC meetings?
Zoom - third Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm

Are you going to hold SMD meetings?

Do you attend other meetings?
I attend Uptown Main Street board meetings and special topic meetings held by DCCAH, DDOT, Planning, etc.

Public safety, safe streets for pedestrians and bikers, and litter!

I care a lot about our city and as a mother of two young kids, I am committed to making it an even safer, healthier, greener, and more vibrant city for generations to come!

Resident hit by car at Grant Circle reinforces need for greater pedestrian safety

Unfortunately, a Petworth resident and teacher at EL Haynes was struck by a car on Tuesday morning on Grant Circle. While she's ok, the collision once again points out the need for greater efforts by DDOT and ANC 4C to find a workable solution for pedestrian, bicycle and driver safety along the corridor. An ANC that votes against options for safety, such as those outlined in DDOT's Livability Survey draft recommendations, is not just short-sighted, it's dangerous.
