BloomBars "Art of Adornment" Spring Craft Fair on May 1st
/I'm sure like many Petworth parents have and still do, my wife and I used to take our daughter to BloomBars in Columbia Heights every weekend (and weekdays) to enjoy their kids programs, music and songs (musician Baba Ras D who plays there is like a Bruce Springsteen for 2-3 year olds. They adore him.)
BloomBars is hosting an "Art of Adornment Spring Craft Fair" on Sunday, May 1st from 1-5 pm. Featuring a mix of artists and creators offering different items like pottery and jewelry, kids accessories and bags and wallets. BloomBars focuses on supporting local talent, especially locally made and hand-made products.
According to John Chambers, the founder and "chief executive gardener" of BloomBars, the craft fair is "In keeping with our mission to nurture local artists and artisans, the Art of Adornment craft fair is the perfect opportunity for local folks to support our vibrant creative community - and walk away with some beautiful one-of-kind gifts to adorn family, friends, or yourself!"
