Petworth PorchFest is about a month away — April 26th, starting at 2pm! With 250+ bands and 100+ hosts, this is shaping up to be a truly great fifth anniversary event! Petworth PorchFest will feature free live music across the Greater Petworth neighborhoods from 2-6pm, and features bands on the Main Stage at the Petworth Recreation Center from 5-8pm, with a kick-off around 5pm.
The event schedule and map of locations is coming next week!

Want to Host a Band?
There is still time if you are a band looking for a porch, or a resident looking to offer your porch up to a band. Spread the word and encourage performers to apply on the PorchFest website. You can also sign up to volunteer if you want to support the event.
Share information about PorchFest with your friends and neighbors and visit the wonderful local businesses across the neighborhood, including on Upshur Street, 14th Street, Georgia Avenue and Kennedy Street as you enjoy this event.
Organizers thank the sponsors for helping to make the event possible — it isn’t easy nor is it free! Platinum sponsor Lime and gold sponsor Eddie Suarez of TTR Sotheby's Realty and our other festival sponsors: Timber Pizza, Trent & Co of Compass Real Estate, De Colores Spanish Immersion Montessori, Honeymoon Chicken, DC Tutoring & Mentoring Initiative, Sustainable You, and ZenJoy.
A big thank you to our program funders: Petworth Main Street, DSLBD, DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and the DC Mayor's Office on Asian & Pacific Islander Affairs.
And shout out to our organizing partners: Pipkin Creative, Haskell Productions, Bailer Design, Chica Creative, Attic, Art of Noize, TMI Creative Comms and Petworth News.
🚨🚨 IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER 🚨🚨
Please do not hang out in the streets in front of houses featuring bands. It’s not safe as streets will not be closed and cars will be driving, and it makes it harder to get the city to approve the music festival. Stay safe, have fun and celebrate music in your own community!
