Capitol Cider House opens for a special Grand Opening Party on Friday, July 20th from 4-11pm, and according to owner Jared Fackrell, you're all invited!

"Join us on Friday, July 20th for our official opening party and be one of the first to experience DC's newest cider bar," Jared wrote in an announcement email. "We'll have our full cider menu available and food from M'Panadas and Short Eats for purchase."

Tickets are $30 and include a cider pour and a branded tasting glass to take home. No tickets sales at the door, so if you want to be one of the first to check out the new cidery, get tickets before they sell out!

Jared Fackrell really likes cider. I mean, apples are definitely his thing. The 32-year old former Navy officer has been brewing his own cider at home for years, and with the changes to the brewery laws in DC, he recently decided to take his passion to a new level and open a cider house and restaurant in Petworth. The new place is called Capitol Cider House and will be located at 3930 Georgia Avenue NW, beneath the Fahrenheit apartment building.
