Another street festival in the books!

This was the 10th Celebrate Petworth Festival for our neighborhood (with time off for COVID), and like past years, was a success. It was great to see so many people come out for the day — and I think this was one of the best Dog Shows we’ve had! Plus, we had our first Trivia Contest hosted by Tara Hoot, and the kids’ stage was bopping along with fun songs and activities.

Much thanks are due to Petworth Main Street and all the amazing volunteers, along with Megan Flynn, Gabriela Mossi and Joe Herrara, for their hard work for months leading up to the event — and especially the day of the event — setting up, running the Festival, running all the sound, and then cleaning up. And thanks to all the sponsors who helped fund the day… closing a street and paying for musicians and such isn’t cheap!
