The DC Music Rocks Festival is next month, and it's going to be awesome. Petworth News is proud to be a sponsor of this amazing show for the second year that features local DC bands playing at a historic venue.

There will be five DC bands of all different genres ready to entertain you on August 18th at 7pm at the 9:30 Club (815 V St NW). The show is all ages, and tickets are only $15, with a portion of proceeds to benefit Girls Rock! DC.

The bands are great, representing Indie, Rock, Hard Rock, Blues, Funk, R&B, Hip Hop, Rap, Pop, Folk and more:
