DDOT has rescheduled their meeting about changes to Sherman Circle to April 12th, so as to not conflict with the DC Water Ward 4 Town Hall Meeting planned for April 5th.

The meeting will now be held on Thursday, April 12 from 6:30 to 8:00pm. The meeting location will be EL Haynes Public Charter School (4501 Kansas Avenue NW, Gymnasium). Only the date of the meeting has changed, not the location.

The meeting is to follow up on previous community meetings held last year. At this meeting, DDOT will present data analysis from transportation studies conducted at the circle, including the temporary closure of one lane which took place last September. DDOT will be presenting recommendations to improve safety at Sherman Circle for pedestrians, bikers, and drivers, as well as a timeline for those improvements.

We invite the community to attend the meeting.
