Celebrate the holidays with Hanukkah & Christmas fun (& a Gift Drive) at The Parks on December 4th
/Celebrate the holidays on December 4th from 5-6:30pm with friends and neighbors as a 20-foot tree and 12-foot Hanukkah menorah are lit to brighten the new Arts Plaza at The Parks at Walter Reed. Enjoy a choir singing holiday tunes, warm up with hot beverages, fire pits, s’mores and tasty treats for kids and grown-ups at the Holiday Celebration at The Parks.
Give the Gift of the Holidays
The Parks is partnering with Housing Up on their Holiday Drive, raising funds to purchase gifts for the nearly 1,500 children in their permanent supportive housing program. You can bring new, unwrapped gifts for children ages 0-18 to the Holiday Celebration or donate on their website. They’ll also have a wrapping station so all you crafty folks out there can help wrap and label the new gifts!
All are welcome to this free event.
