June Petworth Jazz Project is Saturday the 24th (plus bonus Photo Gallery from May's show!)

One my personal favorite Petworth activities comes again this weekend with the return of the Petworth Jazz Project to Petworth Park (8th & Taylor St NW) on June 24th.

Starting at 6pm with kids' musician extraordinaire Baba Ras D, then jazz music kicks off at 7pm with the jazz band Colonies at 7pm and 8pm.

Colonies features:
Matt Henderson:
piano
Mike Okusami: bass
Paul Jung: drums

With special guests: Daniel Wrigley and MILK$

And enjoy a tasty meal from the Crepe Love food truck.

Sponsored by Homestead DC - celebrating their one year anniversary on Friday, June 23rd, with great food and drink. Get your tickets and join the BBQ, music, whiskey and more Homestead celebration!

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BLANKETS AS THEY ARE NO LONGER STORING BLANKETS AT THE REC CENTER.

Also please be advised no pets or alcoholic beverages are permitted on the lawn, per DPR regulations.

Tell a friend and bring a neighbor! See you on the lawn!

I didn't take as many photos at last months' Jazz Project, but below are some. If you see one with you that you'd like, just email me and I'll send you the high res version at no charge.
