Really excited to announce that the Petworth Jazz Project is returning after a long hiatus due to COVID. This popular free music event has been a summer-time highlight for the neighborhood for a decade, and people keep asking if it’s coming back. It is!

The first show will be Saturday, July 30th at the Petworth Park (8th & Taylor Streets NW)

Second show is Saturday, August 27th at the Petworth Park (8th & Taylor Streets NW)

The third and final show of the summer is Saturday, September 17th at Lincoln’s Cottage (Rock Creek Church Road).

The shows kick off at 5:30pm with kids’ music, and should close up around 8pm. There will be a food truck for dinner… but there’s also all the great restaurants on Upshur Street and around the neighborhood for you to do take-out.

So get your blankets, chairs and coolers ready… it’s going to be a great summer of music!
