Each time the Petworth News Facebook page hits another 1,000 likes I throw a community party, and we’re about to hit 3,000… so it’s time to party, people!

I’m thrilled to announce the third annual Petworth News Shindig on July 15th, 7-10pm at Homestead (3911 Georgia Ave NW). The owners and staff of Homestead are excited to host the party and are offering all-party-long happy hour drink specials and free chef choice hors d'oeuvres from 8-9pm. And there’ll be cake! (Parties are always better with cake.)

I’ll also have a screen set-up with photos of the community.

Everyone is invited, there’s no charge. It's free! I'm asking people to RSVP / register so we can track the probable number of attendees and Homestead can plan accordingly.
