Special "Photos of Petworth" exhibition at the Petworth Library

The Petworth Library has been collecting photographs of the Petworth area for the past two months for a special “Photos of Petworth” program to create a visual time capsule of the Petworth neighborhood in the summer of 2016. The Library will be hosting a special exhibit this Thursday, August 11th at 7pm.
"DC was invited to tell stories of their daily lives through photography this spring," said Lisa Warwick, one of the Librarians. "Come see fifty of the photos that were submitted and vote on your favorites. These photos will serve as a visual time capsule of Petworth for the DC Public Library's digital archive, DigDC. Light refreshments will be provided."
Come check out the photos submitted by your neighbors and others from around the area. Should be a pretty cool event. You can RSVP on their Facebook event page, or just show up Thursday at 7pm!
