The Main Stage of Petworth PorchFest will kick off at 5pm on Saturday, April 26th at Petworth Rec Center (801 Taylor Street NW). Due to the rain (and the way electric instruments hate water) the porch bands will move to Sunday, April 27th. Some of the times the bands will be playing has changed, so be sure to check the PorchFest website.

The Main Stage will feature The Fuss (Ska), Flex Matthews Band (hip-hop) and Bongo District (reggae, rock, cumbia). Plus, the stores along the 800 block of Upshur are offering great deals to celebrate PorchFest. With the rain, be sure to stop by to help them out!

8th Street between Taylor and Upshur will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday and will have music, including Music with Mr. Rob (2-4pm) and File a Complaint (4-5pm).
