Petworth Summer Saturdays is a new live music series on the 800 block of Upshur Street in front of Willow Fashion on Saturdays from 5-7pm from July 10 – September 18. The free music shows will feature musicians and other performing artists from across Petworth and the DMV. Head down to Upshur to enjoy live entertainment along with food, drinks and shopping at local businesses. The series is organized by a group of volunteer neighbors and local business owners.

Bands will cover a wide spectrum of genres, from indie to blues, jazz to Hungarian folk, latin pop, folk and rock, among others. Many of the bands played recently at Petworth PorchFest, including Frankojazz, Abe Mamet Trio, Maryjo Mattea, Sligo Waterdogs, Sidewalk Soul, and Vintz Desert. More to come!
