The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will begin Phase II of the Roadway Improvement project along Upshur Street, N.W. between Kansas Avenue, N.W. and Arkansas Avenue, N.W. on or about Thursday, April 23, 2020.
This work will include resurfacing of roadway pavement within the project limits. It is estimated to take approximately one (1) week to complete, weather permitting.

Throughout the construction area, at least one lane of traffic will be maintained. Access to the adjacent houses will also be maintained. Curbside parking will be restricted at this location during construction hours. “EMERGENCY NO PARKING” signs will be posted seventy-two (72) hours prior to the commencement of construction in your area.
All work will be conducted from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.
