Some brazen fellow robbed our local Annie's Ace Hardware store (1240 Upshur St NW) after closing on Wednesday, September 16, around 10pm. Luckily, Annie's has cameras throughout the store and has video of the robber. MPD lists this as a Burglary II incident.

In the video below, this guy looks like he obviously cased the joint beforehand as he knew where some items were. Love how he tries not to touch anything, but ends up leaving finger prints behind in his frustration on not finding cash in the registers. I hope this makes it easier for the police to catch him.

MPD is looking for information on the suspect. Do you know who this guy is? If so, call MPD:

The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public's assistance in identifying a person of interest in reference to a Burglary II incident which occurred in the 1200 block of Upshur Street, NW, on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at approximately 9:59 PM. The subject was captured by the store's surveillance cameras.
