The last Battle of the Bands before the December 9th final show is coming up this Thursday, November 29th at Capitol Cider House! This week it’s The Treads and the 7th Street Rockers performing for a chance to go to the finals and win $1,000!

The Treads

The Treads are a DC-based band that plays alt-country, bluegrass, roots rock, Southern Gothic and Americana - mostly originals, but some covers, too. They bring together a diverse musical heritage, from the Mississippi Delta to the Virginia Piedmont, from Florida swamps to the Allegheny hills. Learn more on their website.

7th Street Rockers

A two-man band comprised of Eric Emmanuel Smith on vocals and David Grinspoon on guitar, their band name gives them strong local preference! (The fact that David is a published astrobiologist certainly makes this geek happy, too!) This is their first show with the new band name, so come support a local band!
