DC Treasure preview party & gumbo contest

DC Treasure store owner Noah David is having an early "preview" party for the store on Monday, Oct 12th. The new antique store at 205 Upshur St NW is next to the Slash Run restaurant and was previously the Louisiana Gumbo Express restaurant.

To celebrate the building's past and to help launch the store's future, DC Treasure will be hosting a preview party at 7pm, with a Gumbo contest (judging starts at 8pm). Noah said "folks should feel free to stop by and check out the shop. I will be open mid afternoon on."

DC Treasure will be in the old Louisiana Gumbo Express building at 205 Upshur, next to the new Slash Run burger restaurant.
