The Celebrate Petworth Festival is rapidly approaching on June 4th, and it's looking like it's going to be a really fun day. Beyond the cool vendors, beyond the tasty food and beyond the phenom music performances, you can also enjoy the Cutest Dog contest, a neighborhood Fun Run and a free 3 on 3 basketball game (with scholarships to the winners!).

Fun Run

Join us for a fun run and visit historical landmarks throughout the Petworth neighborhood. The 30-45 minute run will take place beginning at 10:00am on June 4th on the 800 block of Upshur Street. Join us for a fun run while learning more about the history of Petworth! Thanks to Qualia Coffee for sponsoring the Run.

Dog Show

Do you Love Dogs? Is your dog the waggiest, happiest, sweetest pooch on earth? Join us June 4th for our first annual Celebrate Petworth Dog Show! All dogs welcome (proof of vaccinations may be requested). To register, please select the Dog Show perk on our Indiegogo campaign. All proceeds support the festival.

3x3 Basketball Championship

Join the Championship 3-on-3 youth basketball tournament June 4th, 10am-4pm at the Petworth Rec Center. This free annual event invites players of all ages to participate. Winning teams with at least one middle school, high school or female student will be eligible to win cash scholarships. This is a fun chance for anyone who enjoys basketball to come out and play, whether you play on a school team or just pickup games in the neighborhood. Participants: Players of all ages welcome, but every team must have a qualifying player. 3 categories are High School led Team (14-18), Female led team (11-18), Middle School led team (11-13). Cash scholarships awarded to winning team’s student athletes.
