Celebrate with Hellbender Brewery at their 3rd Anniversary party

Ward 4 is awesome for many things, obviously, but one of those is being home to several great craft breweries. Hellbender Brewery, one of my favorites, is celebrating its third anniversary on Saturday, November 18th -- and you're invited to the party!

Join the founders and fans of Hellbender Brewery from 12pm - 7pm at the brewery (5788 2nd Street NE). Tickets are only $10 and come with one pint and a cool commemorative pint glass with their new DC Flag birthday logo.

One Eight Distilling will be onsite with free tastings of their Beer Spirit 4-pack that includes collaborations spirits made from Hellbender's Grampus Smoked Nut Brown, their Groundskeeper Islay Wee Heavy's barrels, DC Brau's Stone of Abroath and hop-infused whiskey! You can buy your own 4-pack to take home and get their special house cocktail made with the Wee Heavy Whiskey!

Timber Pizza will also be at the party slinging the best pizza pies in the city, while veteran-owned Vic's Homegrown will tickle your sweet tooth with all their desserty goodness. More vendors to be announced soon.

Hellbender will have three new beers on draft to celebrate the 3rd anniversary - a 3 for 3!

  1. Birthday Pony Double IPA - a big, dank, tropical DIPA brewed with irresponsibly aggressive amounts of Mosaic, Citra, Idaho 7 & Citra.

  2. Grampus Smoked Nut Brown Ale - It's back! Our fall favorite returns for its annual limited run. Grampus' deeply nutty and chocolatey malt bill is perfectly matched by its smoky aroma from Copper Fox Distillery's house-smoked apple and cherry wood malted barley.

  3. Brett? Present Wild Brett Ale w/ Raspberries - Available for the first time in the tap room (and only in the tap room), this tart, pink-hued beauty will pucker your palette and launch a thousand Instagram posts. It's unlikely the batch will last the entire party, so come early or risk missing out!

Get your tickets before they run out!
