DC Water offering Free Lead Service Replacement for households on nine blocks

Through September 30, 2022, DC Water is offering free lead service line replacement for eligible households (regardless of income) located on nine blocks within Petworth and Brightwood Park:

Households located on the circled blocks are eligible for free lead service replacement in 2022. Gray dots indicate lead pipes for that household (likely based on historic documentation), while green dots indicate copper or brass pipes.

Agreements for this work must be signed by the property owner or an authorized representative. If replying by email (preferred method), sign one copy of the Agreement and email a scanned copy to lead@dcwater.com under the subject "Private Lead/Galvanized Service Line Replacement Project.”

If replying by Postal mail, return one signed copy to: District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority, Lead Pipe Replacement Program, 301 Bryant Street NW, Washington, DC 20001.
