First Friday art & music returns to Petworth with an opera at Lincoln's Cottage
/Join Petworth Arts Collaborative for this year’s first First Friday, Opera in the Park at President Lincoln's Cottage, Friday June 7th from 6-8pm..
Featuring The In Series, “bringing opera that speaks and theater that sings: a program from the sublime to the ridiculous with music from the operatic canon and American songbook jazz standards.”
Each First Friday Petworth Arts Collaborative is presenting and producing arts and community events for all to enjoy while also supporting other organizations. The majority of the events are free.
Opera in the Park is a ticketed event, $10.00 at the door. The admission fees support preserving President Lincoln’s Cottage, a private independent 501(c)3 and only National Monument that doesn’t receive government operating funds.
First Friday: June 7th from 6pm-8pm (performance at 6:30pm).
Short Eats on hand offering food for purchase. Bring your family, friends and picnic blanket.
