Photos and video from May's Petworth Jazz Project
/The first Petworth Jazz Project of the 2019 was, in my opinion, one of the best so far. Baba Ras D led off the night with music for the kids, and boy oh boy do the little people love Baba. The rain stayed away, Timber was slinging pizza, and the spray park was on for kids.
Then Joe Herrera brought his A+ game to the field at Petworth Recreation Center, with his Remix band and freestyle rapper Flex Matthews jumping in a few times (and absolutely killing it). I meant to publish this gallery sooner just to give everyone a chance to see the show, so without further ado, here’s a video of Joe Herrera Remix with Flex Matthews freestyle rapping, and a quick photo gallery of the night below.
