Petworth Citizen brings more fancy brunch options to Upshur Street

Moroccan Baked Eggs from chef Jamie Rutherford at Petworth Citizen

While you can get a bacon and egg or pancake breakfast at Slim's Diner, or a delicious weekend morning egg and sausage empanada at Timber Pizza, now Petworth Citizen's chef Jamie Rutherford has put together a new pretty fancy-looking (and tasty sounding) brunch menu for Upshur Street. You can get your own plate starting Sunday, October 8th at 11am:

    Goat cheese and chives, served with country style potatoes and bitter greens 
  • Moroccan Baked Eggs $16
    Spicy tomato stew, feta, fried chickpeas, herb salad, flatbread
  • Pork Crepinette $17
    Fried eggs, country-stye potatoes, bitter greens
  • Pan Pomme $11
    Sourdough french toast, sautéed apples in lemon butter

    Little Gem, Soft boiled Egg, Sourdough crouton
