The Petworth Community Market was crowded and loud and a lot of fun. Tons of great vendors, some new and other more established vendors selling tasty food. The Market was celebrating back-to-school season by showing how fun learning can be with 826DC and hands-on skill-building through fun and creative activities with Project Create.

City Blossoms was there to help kids understand where food comes from (hint, from farms not just from Safeway!). Community Forklift had a booth set-up for people to sign-up for tutorials on home improvement (highly recommend Community Forklift!). Girls Rock DC came out to get kids of all ages dancing. They were great, tons of energy and enthusiasm. Check out a cheer below:
