Ms. Cooper is the founder of the DC African American Legacy Foundation (DCAALF), and will present her short documentary film and a follow-up discussion on Friday, November 13th from 6:30-8pm at the Historical Society of Washington DC (801 K Street NW). The panel will be moderated by Dan Silverman (from Popville.com). The documentary description:

Petworth is a diverse community that has experienced many changes over the past century. This video gives a thorough history of this charming neighborhood and all that it has to offer.
