Roosevelt High School has been undergoing renovations for a long time, and has been the source of some community frustration, as current Roosevelt students have been stuck over in MacFarland Middle School. MacFarland had a host of problems that DCPS and the city finally fixed after some loud parent and community complaints.

Now DCPS is inviting parents and members of the community to tour the renovated school.

The school will host an open house from 10am to 12pm on Saturday, January 30th. Below is the announcement:

Come visit the new Roosevelt High School building for an information session and tour with Planning Principal Aqueelha James this Saturday from 10am to noon at 4301 13th St. NW. Please use the back entrance by the MacFarland parking lot (Iowa Ave. entrance).
