Powell Elementary's 5th Annual Community Carnival is June 1st with games, food & more for the whole neighborhood

Now in its fifth year, the Powell Elementary Community Carnival, put on by the school’s PTA, Powell Padres, is set to return on June 1st. This year the Carnival will be at Powell Elementary, and offers a ton of things to do for families in the neighborhood — anyone can attend!

Some of the events:

  • 2 Moon Bounces

  • 2 Obstacle Courses

  • Carnival Games and prizes

  • 24' Rock climbing wall

  • Face Painting

  • Balloon Animals

  • Fire Truck Touch

  • Powell Teachers vs Parents soccer match

  • Amazing homemade & restaurant food

  • Great raffle prizes

  • Live Performances from Powell students​, Pointless Theatre, CHEC Afro Pan American Ensemble, the National Conservatory of Arts and Cardon Studios

  • Incredible DJ from Words Beats & Life

Time: 11am - 5pm
Location: Powell Elementary (enter on Taylor St, off 14th St NW, in the parking lot)

You can also pick up raffle tickets ahead of the Carnival. Prizes include:
