Safari, which sits on a quiet stretch of Georgia Avenue just off the Upshur Street drag, is the only Kenyan restaurant in Washington DC. It has found a following with the Kenyan and broader East African community, with customers coming from all over the DC metro area to enjoy familiar foods in the company of fellow émigrés and others interested in East African fare.
