Celebrate Petworth is Saturday, Sept 9 and is going to be great!
/The 4th Annual Celebrate Petworth Festival is Saturday, September 9th on the 800 block of Upshur Street. Like the previous years, it'll be full of local vendors, artists, musicians and a puppy or two. And Petworth News is sponsoring a local music show from 2-7pm: "Petworthpalooza!"
The Festival is Saturday, September 9th, from 11am until 5pm, on Upshur Street between 8th and 9th Street NW.
There will be a performance stage featuring a variety of entertainment, from kids' performances to jazz, a Petworth History Tent and the return of the awesome and super fun dog show! Lots of local vendors will be there and delicious food trucks! Returning this year is the 3-on-3 Basketball Tourney and Fun Run.

And... PETWORTHPALOOZA!
Petworth News is sponsoring "Petworthpalooza," a local music stage in the gravel lot behind Petworth Citizen, off the alley where the Petworth mural is located. The show is all about local musicians playing for a local audience. And there will be beer! $5 drafts courtesy of 3-Star Brewery. Bands include the The Treads, The Iris Bell, Distant Creatures and others! Learn more >
