The Celebrate Petworth Festival June 4th on the 800 block of Upshur St NW is quickly approaching. While they're seeking the majority of funding from area businesses and sponsors, they've launched an Indiegogo campaign to help local crowdfund support for the Festival, and they're offering some great perks.

Last year the Indiegogo campaign raised $2,500, and this year they're asking for your help to raise $3,500 -- and there's only 12 days left in the campaign. Funds raised will help cover cost like permits and insurance fees, stage and equipment rentals, required police staff time, musicians and performers, marketing, and other event costs.
