After more than a decade, Upshur Park, located at 4300 Arkansas Ave NW, is scheduled for a $19 million renovation.
You can submit your thoughts on what to prioritize in the renovation via an online survey — the deadline to submit your input is November 19th.

Petworth News reached out to DCPS who confirmed that work on the entrance is scheduled to be completed by the end of May.
However, according to a spokesperson for the Department of Parks of Recreation, they currently have no plans to open to the public.

Camps will be open from 9-5pm, with pre- and after-care available. Campers participate in traditional camp activities with social distancing, hand hygiene and face covering guidelines in place.
