DPR announces options for Thursday kids movie night at Petworth Park
/It took a bit of wrangling but the Department of Parks and Recreation has announced the movie for their Movie Night Out at Petworth Park (8th & Taylor Streets NW) on Thursday, July 27, 2017 8:30pm to 11pm... and apparently the movie that'll be shown will be up for a vote.
From a tweet DPR sent out on Tuesday evening:
"DPR Movie Night is viewers’ choice. The audience will help select the movie.
Titles are “Smurfs the Lost Village,” “Lego Batman Movie,” “The Secret Life of Pets” or “Sing.”
DPR tried this movie night last month but seemingly didn't announce it, so the only attendees were two very nice but lonely DPR staffers.
