Read MoreA new art event joins the active line-up of community programs centered on the Petworth Park on Saturday, June 2nd from 4pm to 9pm. A brainchild of the Petworth Arts Collaborative (PAC), Petworth Arts Fest will feature various professional DC artists, live installations and performances to engage neighbors and our surrounding community through the arts. And they’re looking for volunteers to help make it happen!

The Kennedy Street Development Corporation led the effort for the designation, and continues to work for community-focused improvements and opportunities. Read MoreThe Petworth Bandstand free music show returns this Sunday, April 8th from 1-5pm at Petworth Citizen (829 Upshur St NW). The show kicks off at 1pm and goes until 5ish... with four local bands performing! The past two shows have been great, and this one will be awesome.
Thanks to Petworth Citizen, 10% of food & drink proceeds go to the Friends of the Soldiers Home, so come hungry and thirsty!

If you drink water or bathe, and then follow that up by paying a water bill each month, you might be interested in going to one of these meetings. Also a good opportunity to ask DC Water staff questions on billing, infrastructure concerns, lead pipe remediation, etc.
